Sometimes you just need to rest.
To be well, we often just go, go go. Sometimes we need to stop and rest. Take time for yourself and then hit it hard again! »moreAllen commented on fitlanthropist's idea 'When in doubt...calorie count?'

When in doubt...calorie count?
Do you count calories? Why or why not? I'd really love to hear your reasons. I think I've reached the point where I must do it in order to be healthy! »moreakeane commented on fitlanthropist's idea 'Want to curb your appetite? Brush your teeth'

Fellow Diabetics: Treat Your Disease Seriously
I dreaded the day that I heard that I had Type II diabetes. It seemed as if my physician was trying to cushion the blow by saying that in all reality that I was a "borderline" diabetic, and that it should really be »morehiker1 commented on fitlanthropist's idea 'It might be cliché, but it's worth it: spend more time with your family!'

I'm man enough for Jillian Michaels
As much as I love running, I'm not the biggest fan of running in the cold. So, in order to keep up a decent exercise regimen I am heeding my sisters-in-law and my wife's advice by trying out new workout videos. Thei »morefitlanthropist recently posted this idea in the exchange…
Want to curb your appetite? Brush your teeth
Brushing your teeth in between meals (and really, after any time you eat anything) will help you keep a hold on your hunger...unless, of course, you like the taste of orange juice and toothpaste! »morefitlanthropist recently posted this idea in the exchange…
